Sn0wbreeze Jailbreak iOS 6 Update for iOS 6.1.3 [Instruction]

The release of Sn0wbreeze 2.9.14 offers the possibility to jailbreak iOS 6.1.3 on iPhone 3GS and 4. As you know the Evasi0n tool that helped to perform jailbreak on iOS 6 devices up to 6.1.2 firmware version doesn’t work on the v.6.1.3. iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 users have to wait till hackers develop another utility before they are able to jailbreak their smartphones.

You can follow our instruction on how to perform Sn0wbreeze iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak if you have iPod touch 4G or A4 handset from Apple. Before we start our guide you need to download Sn0wbreeze v2.9.14 and make sure you are using Windows PC. Mac owners are out of luck.

You can get only tethered jailbreak for A4 device running iOS 6.1.3 right now. This means that it is required to use iBooty to boot tethered your smartphone every time it reboots.

Step 1.  Download Sn0wbreeze 2.9.14 here and open it. There will be a blue arrow in the bottom. Press on it and choose Browser for an IPSW. You’ll have to point the program to iOS v6.1.3 file. You need download iOS 6.1.3 as well or allow the program to do this but it is better to download it first before using Sn0wbreeze.

Step 2. Press on Next and choose Simple Mode. The utility now wants to know whether you plan on activating iOS gadget or not. “Yes” is your choice if you wish to unlock iPhone with Ultrasn0w. “No” is the option for users with factory unlocked iPhone.

Step 3. Wait till the jailbreaking program creates custom firmware file for your handset. It will appear on desktop.

Step 4. You will see instructions on how to put the device into Pwned DFU mode. Follow them.

Step 5. As you are in Pwned DFU mode you need to open iTunes [your iDevice should be plugged into PC]. Press on Restore while pressing down SHIFT on the keyboard and choose your custom firmware file located on desktop.

Step 6. Your smartphone will restore and boot and you will be able to enjoy Cydia tweaks on your iPhone but first do steps below to successfully finish the process.

When the jailbreaking process is complete, Snowbreeze will place a new folder on desktop called iBooty. Use it when you need to boot the smartphone [Cydia should be launched when you do this].

Open iBooty and choose the handset from menu. Press on Start and follow the guide that appears on the screen. Put iPhone in DFU mode and let iBooty to finish the process.
